These beautiful reclaimed pews were rescued from a church in Staffordshire that was about to be demolished. Ed has taken the pews and after a lot of hard work and skill, turned them into back into the gorgeous pieces of furniture they originally were and created three different sizes to suit all. Each piece has been cleaned thoroughly, lightly sanded and Danish oil applied to bring out the grain.
The pews are in excellent condition. They have a lovely warm natural medium oak colour. They are beautifully solid and substantial and in amazing condition - not one joint has moved through age or time. There is a hymn book shelf to the rear perfect for storing books or maybe gloves and scarves if kept in a hallway. The pews are freestanding and look fantastic from all angles. Ed is in awe of the original craftsmanship that went into making these pews. He says they are the best oak ones he has seen. Pictured are the largest (4 panel - 211cm)) and smallest (2 panel - 117cm) There is a three panel one available too at 164cm long. Contact us if you need a bespoke size.
