These totally unique pine benches (with tables and pews to match - see our shop) are made from matching reclaimed pews rescued from a church in Staffordshire that was about to be demolished. Ed has taken the pews and after a lot of hard work and skill, turned them into these gorgeous benches. Each piece has been cleaned thoroughly, stripped, lightly sanded and Danish oil applied to bring out the grain. Ed has resisted sanding out all the marks commensurate with time as they only add to the history and to the charm of the pine.
Black cast iron X shaped legs set the benches off perfectly. The bench top is also made from a solid and substantial pew seat.
