These totally unique pine pews - with table and benches to match - are made from matching reclaimed pews rescued from a church in Staffordshire that was about to be demolished. Ed has taken the pews and, after a lot of hard work and skill, given them a new lease of life. Each piece has been cleaned thoroughly, lightly sanded and the back and sides painted in a country cream colour. Should you want a different paint colour please contact us. He has resisted the temptation to sand off the marks of history off the seat which only adds to their desirability.
The pew is in good sound condition. The seat is a lovely warm natural colour. They are beautifully solid and substantial and in great condition - not one joint has moved through age or time. There is a hymn book shelf to the rear perfect for storing books or maybe gloves and scarves if kept in a hallway. The pews are freestanding and look good from all angles. They have some marks commensurate with their grand age.
Pew - L 140cm, height at back is 92cm, seat depth is 52cm
